Our dear Debby went to her heavenly abode on June 21, 2007.
She passed away in Baltimore, Maryland due to cancer at the age of 37. She was the beloved daughter of Avraham Cohen (formerly Rama C. Samanta Roy) and Julaine Samanta Roy. Debby grew up in Shawano, received her undergraduate degree in biology from Boston University and attended graduate school at Yale University where she received her doctorate in neuroscience. She continued as a post-doctoral fellow at both Yale and The Johns Hopkins University and made significant contributions to her field. Throughout life she was kind and gentle and had a strong faith in God that was apparent to all who knew her. She is survived by; her loving parents, and brother and will be always in our thoughts.
