A Geraldton 'sovereign citizen' campaigner has faced court charged with inciting his followers to arrest government ministers and other officials.
Wayne Kenneth Glew, 74, appeared in the Geraldton Magistrates Court as about 40 supporters rallied outside the building.
He is charged with inciting another person to commit an indictable offence, which is deprivation of liberty.
Mr Glew, who represented himself in court, told Magistrate Matthew Walton he had been "inundated with calls from several barristers" claiming the police search warrant of his Glenfield property in early February was "a fraud".
Mr Glew, who is part of an informal movement of sovereign citizens, told Mr Walton he wanted the case sent to the High Court.
He also spoke in court of a "corrupt system" that "forces us to have a vaccination".
The magistrate said he could not make a determination on the jurisdiction the case would be heard in but remanded the matter to May 2 for a mention.
When officers arrested Mr Glew, they allege he had posted a series of videos on social media "using threatening language and inciting others to arrest government ministers and public officials after documents purporting to be arrest warrants were handed to Perth Police Station".
Magistrate Walton noted Mr Glew had not entered a plea but had indicated he would plead not guilty to the charge.
