"I would just like to continue to maintain my innocence in this situation," Chevie Kehoe, of Colville, Wash., told U.S. District Judge G. Thomas Eisele after the judge asked if Kehoe had anything to say.
Kehoe, 26, and Danny Lee, 26, of Yukon, Okla., were convicted last month of three counts of murder for slaying gun dealer William Mueller, his wife, Nancy, and her 8-year-old daughter in January 1996.
Kehoe and Lee were also both convicted of one count each of conspiracy and racketeering. Kehoe and Lee were convicted in what prosecutors said was a plot to set up a new nation where people of Asian, black, Hispanic and Jewish descent would be banned.
Prosecutors said the pair wanted Mueller's guns to sell or use them to further their plot.
According to prosecutors, Kehoe and Lee's illegal activities included the bombing of City Hall at Spokane, Wash. Chevie Kehoe and his brother, Cheyne, were involved in a videotaped shootout with Ohio police Feb. 15, 1997.
