According to his Danish physician, Mogens Amdi Petersen is ill with an allergic reaction and was sent to a hospital in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Court sessions planned for Wednesday and Thursday of this week are cancelled. His lawyer Anders Boelskifte promised that Amdi would present himself at the court again at its next session on the 22nd of October.
Helge Adam Moller, jurist speaker of the conservative party, said he would recommend an unbiased physician check to see if Amdi really is ill.
He also recalled that the prosecutor suggested Amdi should deliver his passport when he was set free, but the court thought that this would not be necessary.
