Justin Sterling Dates--from his Family of Women

I have been watching and reading your web site since the Michelle Marsh [NBC television affiliate] interview with Justin Sterling.  I am impressed with the number of people who are locating and responding to the site.

I too have done the "Women's Weekend" and was on the Audio Visual (AV) Team--as well as in "Leadership Training."

The reason I am writing now is because I saw the new organizational chart and realize that [Justin Sterling] is recruiting younger women now and this truly concerns me.  It's bad enough that he dates women from

the Family of Women (FOW), but to recruit even younger women then already are involved should be an issue to raise additional concern. These women are often very vulnerable to Sterling's manipulation and undue influence.

First of all--neither he nor people are trained to help anyone improve their lives--let alone their

relationships.  Anything Justin or his people spew you can read for yourself. He has nothing new and the ideas he does have are not his own. He looks for vulnerable women with money and guys that already think they are losers.  Many of his followers are people (especially the women) from homes where there was frequently some form of abuse. As many might conclude, that abuse often continues in the Family of Women.

I worked on the A/V team for the "Men's Weekend."  I was in the room when the men entered to begin their experience with Sterling.  We were put there purposely to instigate and promote aggressive feelings towards women.  Considering it was a "Men's Weekend" they were not happy to see us. The vulgarity and aggression towards us was taken to a certain point and then we were removed. The men were made to feel as if they had done it all on their own, but it was staged.

I could write chapters on what I think and what I experienced at the weekend, on the teams and through my time volunteering.  I was also a member of International Community Service Day Foundation (ICSD).  That's another book!

Please be aware that the ICSD Foundation is no longer in New York City.  All of the members from NYC resigned as of February 2000--due to the continued controversy surrounding Sterling.  I must say good work was done through the ICSD, but the influence of Sterling pervades it and has hurt its efforts.
