The Moon family feud that has nearly destroyed the Washington Times appears to have a sunny side. Insiders say that family members eager to rehabilitate the paper are looking to take control from Preston Moon, who put it on the market after trying to close it. And Unification Church founder Rev. Sun Myung Moon, who recently handed the reins of the Times to his son Preston, is so upset at his plans to sell it that he's pledged to outbid any buyer just to keep it in the family. That's cheered the editors and reporters left after a recent purge. "It's, at least, consolation that the place is unlikely to be shuttered," says one insider.
