Singer Jennifer Lopez will suffer in silence when she gives birth.
Six months pregnant J-Lo is preparing for the controversial Scientology practice with special lessons.
J-Lo, 38, got the idea from pal Katie Holmes, who kept quiet for the birth of Tom Cruise's baby, Suri. A friend said: "Although she knows it will be hard not to scream, she understands why it will be good for the baby to have peace and quiet."
The Scientology website says: "Chatty doctors and nurses' shouts to 'push, push' and loud or laughing remarks to 'encourage' are the types of things that are meant to be avoided."
J-Lo has been encouraged to follow the religion by dad David and best friend Lea Remini. And third husband Marc Anthony, 39, recently did a Scientology "purification" course in LA.
Meanwhile J-Lo has sparked rumours she is having twins in March after she ordered two sets of gifts at a Hollywood baby boutique.
