John Travolta and his wife, Kelly Preston, will host a dinner on May 24 to raise money for Narconon Hawaii, an organization that promotes drug education, prevention and rehabilitation.
But if you want to dine with the megastars, it will cost you. Individual seating starts at $2,500 per person. All tax-deductible proceeds go to the somewhat controversial nonprofit that the Hawaii-born Preston has actively supported. Narconon has been linked to the Church of Scientology, to which both Travolta and Preston belong.
The evening features a 5 p.m. reception at the Honolulu Design Center, 5:30 p.m. dinner at Stage Restaurant by executive chef Jon Matsubara.
