Man Called Aryan Leader Says Guilty

The Associated Press/January 5, 2002

Columbus, Ohio -- A man the FBI has identified as the Ohio leader of the white supremacist group Aryan Nations has pleaded guilty to a charge of selling firearms without a license, court records show.

The records also say federal prosecutors dropped 26 other weapons charges against Danny W. Kincaid, 56.

Federal authorities sealed court records after Kincaid entered the plea Dec. 21 in U.S. District Court in Columbus. The Dayton Daily News obtained copies of the records this week.

The guilty plea involved weapons sales from Oct. 7, 2000, to July 2, 2001, the date when federal agents raided an aunt's home in Galena where Kincaid was staying. The counts dismissed by U.S. District Judge James Graham accused Kincaid of selling firearms despite felony convictions in 1965 and 1972.

Kincaid declined to comment when reached at home Friday night. Court records did not make clear when the sentencing will take place.
