TOKYO, June 29, 1999 (Kyodo) -- -- The government intends to consider new legislation to relieve the suffering of victims of crimes allegedly committed by members of the AUM Shinrikyo cult in an effort to strengthen control on the group, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hiromu Nonaka said Tuesday.
