Corwin Springs - Ed Francis, the former vice president and business manager of the Church Universal and Triumphant, is resigning immediately from the church’s board of directors and council of elders, the church announced Friday.
Last July, Francis quit his job as vice president but remained in the voluntary positions on the board and council.
Francis said there were several reasons for his resignation.
He joined the church in 1970 and has spent most of his adult life working for it.
