Kim Ji-sun (46), an accomplice of Chung Myung-seok (78), the president of the Christian Gospel Mission (JMS), who sexually assaulted and molested Goddess Island, was sentenced to seven years in prison by the Supreme Court.
The second division of the Supreme Court (Chief Justice Kim Sang-hwan) confirmed the original trial on the 8th, which sentenced Kim, who was handed over to trial on charges of quasi-similar rape, to seven years in prison.
Kim, who has been active under the name of Jeong Jo-eun, was put on trial on charges of participating in sexual violence, such as luring the victims to Chung Myung-seok as "JMS No. 2."
According to the legal community, Kim is accused of handing over pajamas to Maple, a Hong Kong national goddess, from March to April 2018 and instructing her to "sleep here while protecting the Lord."
He is also accused of sympathizing with the crime by answering the victim who asked for counseling, "Because you are pretty."
Kim was also found to have played a key role in brainwashing the doctrine.
The first trial court sentenced him to seven years in prison.
The second trial court also cited the judgment of the first trial. However, he was acquitted of the two secretaries who were indicted together and sentenced to probation of imprisonment on the charge of aiding and abetting. The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal on the same day, and the sentence of Kim and others was confirmed.
Earlier, Chung Myung-seok was sentenced to 17 years in prison in the second trial on the 2nd. In response, Jeong pleaded not guilty and expressed his intention to appeal immediately.
